Job Description: Stipend Coach - Flagline/ Color Guard
  • Position Type: Extra Duties Stipends/Coach
  • Location: Liberty High School  
    SALARY: Stipend
    Qualifications: Application Procedures:
    • Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online "Band Safety" course
    • Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online "Concussion in Sports - What You Need to Know" course
    • Current Certification in CPR or Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online "CPR and AED training" course
    • Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online "Heat Illness Prevention" course
    • An Arizona Teaching Certificate, Arizona Coaching Certificate OR content area related degree
    • Knowledge of essential skills, techniques, rules and safety concerns for the Performing Arts Activity to be coached
    • Skill in communicating with all stakeholders
    • In depth knowledge necessary to adhere to rules set out by ABODA (www. https://www.aboda.org/) and Peoria Unified School District #11 and to advise staff as needed of rules
    • Attendance of mandatory school district meetings and aligned trainings




OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Must be able to pass a background clearance check.
  • Registration at National Federation of State High School Associations (https://nfhslearn.com/ ) for training
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona driver's license as driving students to and from competitions may be required.
  • May be required to work outside normal working hours
  • May be required to travel to perform work functions
  • Must establish a sense of comradery among our students through teambuilding, fundraising, service projects, etc.
SELECTION PROCESS: Selected candidates will be required to participate in an interview process.
