Job Responsibilities Senior Army JROTC Instructor Wil Lou Gray Opportunity School West Columbia, South Carolina Position Overview Wil Lou Gray Opportunity School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Army JROTC Instructor (SAI) to lead and manage its Army JROTC program in a structured, military-style educational environment serving at-risk youth ages 16-19. The ideal candidate will inspire cadets through leadership development, citizenship, academic support, and character education while maintaining Army JROTC standards and program excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and administer all aspects of the Army JROTC program Teach JROTC curriculum focused on leadership, citizenship, service, and life skills Mentor and motivate cadets in academic, behavioral, and personal growth Organize and supervise drill teams, color guard, ceremonies, and community events Maintain compliance with Army Cadet Command policies and reporting requirements Coordinate with school administration, faculty, parents, and military representatives Promote a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment Support student recruitment, retention, and cadet achievement initiatives Minimum and Additional Requirements Minimum Qualifications Retired U.S
