We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Grader Operator to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a motor grader to spread and level dirt, gravel, and other materials for highway, road, and site preparation projects.

If you have a sharp eye for grade, a strong commitment to safety, and take pride in precision work, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • GPS Utilization: Utilize and interpret GPS grade-control systems (Topcon, Trimble, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; perform basic preventative maintenance (greasing, checking fluids) and report defects.
  • Site Safety: Adhere to all OSHA and company safety regulations; work closely with ground crews, grade checkers, and other operators.
  • Versatility: Assist with other job site duties and operate secondary equipment (dozers, excavators, or rollers) when needed.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-5 years of experience specifically operating a motor grader in heavy civil, highway, or commercial site prep.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of finish grade work, blueprints, stakes, and grade lasers/GPS systems.
  • Certifications: Valid Driver’s License required; CDL is a major plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, sit for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Attributes: Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent communication skills.

What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
