Job description

If you are energetic, customer service-oriented, and passionate about design, we would love to meet you. We are looking for a full-time Food Service Designer to work with us in one of the best industries in Hawaii, the Hospitality & Food Service Industry. The ideal candidate will be personable, outgoing, detail-oriented, and able to work well independently. A strong background in Revit, BIM, and Bluebeam is highly sought after.
  • Participates in the development, implementation, and creation of designs for our customers.
  • Space Programming and Planning - develop kitchen, seating, and restroom layouts following building, ADA, and health codes.
  • Review details of spec sheets & shop drawings for utility information.
  • Assist with reviewing shop drawings.
  • Communicate with architects, engineers, vendors, and customers to review plans and discuss changes.
  • Track billable and non-billable hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Trained and experienced with Revit, BIM, and Bluebeam programs.
  • Degree/Certification in Design and or CAD Drafter or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with G-Suite applications (e.g., Gmail, Google Drive, Google Slides, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office programs (especially PowerPoint design)
  • Preferred experience with VR or rendering programs such as Twin Motion.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage several projects and prioritize workload with strong organizational skills.
  • Must have reliable transporation to work.
  • Reliability and dependability are key components for this role.
  • Must clear pre-employment screening upon a contingent offer.
