The Designer is responsible for creating compelling, on-brand visual communications across print, digital, social, experiential, and emerging platforms that promote STARZ Original series, products, and services. This role partners closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop innovative creative that strengthens the STARZ brand and delivers engaging, audience-first campaigns.
As a steward of the STARZ visual identity, the Designer ensures all creative reflects established brand standards, supports campaign objectives, and contributes to a consistent, premium consumer experience across every touchpoint.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and cross-functional partners to develop innovative creative solutions that support marketing and business objectives.
  • Design and produce marketing assets across print, digital, social, out-of-home, presentations, experiential, and promotional channels.
  • Translate creative briefs into compelling visual concepts that align with campaign strategy, audience insights, and STARZ brand standards.
  • Apply and uphold STARZ's visual identity, brand language, and design guidelines across all creative deliverables while helping evolve the brand through thoughtful execution.
  • Present design concepts and iterate creative based on stakeholder feedback while maintaining the integrity of the creative vision.
  • Prepare production-ready artwork and collaborate with production, photo, retouching, and external partners to ensure high-quality execution from concept through final delivery.
  • Stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, AI-assisted creative tools, and entertainment marketing best practices to continually elevate creative work.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by contributing ideas, sharing knowledge, and supporting creative excellence across the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of three years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within entertainment, streaming, media, advertising, or consumer brands.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design, branding, typography, campaign development, and production capabilities across print and digital media.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles, visual identity systems, and the ability to apply brand language consistently across multiple platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into engaging visual communications that strengthen brand recognition and consumer engagement.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; familiarity with Figma and presentation design tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of print production, digital asset creation, color management, image retouching, and file preparation for multiple output formats.
  • Knowledge of responsive digital design, social media platforms, and emerging content formats.
  • Excellent conceptual thinking with strong typography, layout, composition, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities.
