Live Where Others Vacation — Delaware Beaches Lifestyle
When you're not practicing Emergency Medicine with one of the East Coast's premier independent physician-owned groups, you'll be enjoying one of the most desirable coastal communities in the Mid-Atlantic. The main ED sits about a mile from Lewes Beach on the calm Delaware Bay, and Cape Henlopen State Park — six miles of guarded Atlantic beach, a fishing pier, and roughly 15 miles of connected bike trails — is minutes away.
- Downtown feels like a Norman Rockwell beach town, featuring brick-lined streets, colonial architecture, boutique shopping, waterfront dining, coffee shops, and a vibrant local community.
- Live just minutes from Lewes Beach and Cape Henlopen State Park with miles of pristine beaches, scenic bike trails, boating, fishing, kayaking, and year-round outdoor recreation.
- Enjoy the beach before or after your shift—many physicians bike instead of drive!
- Outstanding coastal dining with fresh local seafood, craft breweries, farm-to-table restaurants, and nearby Rehoboth Beach just 10–15 minutes away.
- Enjoy four beautiful seasons with warm summers, colorful falls, mild winters, and picturesque springs.
- Conveniently located just 1.5–2 hours from Philadelphia, 2.5 hours from Baltimore, and 3 hours from Washington, D.C., with easy access to Philadelphia International Airport.
- Take advantage of Delaware's tax benefits, including no state sales tax and relatively low property taxes.
- Build more than a career—build a life. Practice meaningful Emergency Medicine, earn one of the Mid-Atlantic's premier all-in compensation packages, and become an equal physician partner in just 18 months—all in a destination where others vacation.
