Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and assist in developing budget plans
  • Develop and maintain budgeting systems and procedures
  • Evaluate budget requests and recommend adjustments to ensure compliance with organizational goals and program guidelines
  • Monitor spending to ensure compliance with approved budgets
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to CDS budgets and expenditures
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding budget-related questions and discrepancies
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial information

Qualifications

  • Previous budgeting, finance, administrative, or accounting experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
