Job Description:

As a Colombian Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving success and innovation. Our work depends on a Colombian Analyst joining our team to serve as a natively fluent language specialist with a cultural background in Colombia to support a social media program in Tampa, FL. The preferred candidate will have the ability to read and write in a Spanish dialect native to the specified area, and proficiency in indigenous languages such as Wayuu, Nasa Yuwe, or Embera is a plus.

HOW A COLOMBIAN ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Develops and maintains expertise with designated regional issues and draws upon publicly available online information resources.
  • Reads, analyzes, and drafts communications regarding regional and ideological discussions in specified foreign language media environments.
  • Examines current media statements or postings to support trend analysis and identifies key communicators.
  • Demonstrates reading and writing expertise in the assigned language and incorporates custom social media solutions to comprehend online environments and communicate trends effectively.
  • Supports operations planning and demonstrates knowledge of online social media and different technologies.
  • Documents activities, notes, informative papers, or whitepapers written in English.
  • May require the ability to work nonstandard hours and be on-call for periods of time.
  • Some travel may be required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; extensive experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Experience:

  • Requires 5+ years of related experience.

Security Clearance Level:

  • Minimum DoW Secret clearance required.

Skills and Abilities:
