What you will be doing:

We are looking for a AI-Native Software Engineer with strong experience building scalable backend systems using Node.js, distributed architectures, and modern data technologies. The ideal candidate has experience working with e-commerce systems and understands how high-volume transactional platforms, integrations, and event-driven architectures operate.

This role will focus primarily on backend development while also contributing to emerging AI-powered capabilities, agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations. Candidates do not need to be AI experts, but should have a solid conceptual understanding of how LLMs, AI agents, tools, MCP, and AI-driven workflows work and how they can be integrated into production applications.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of strong professional experience in backend software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development or other similar languages like python, Java, C#, Etc.
  • Experience designing and developing distributed systems and microservices.
  • Practical experience with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies.
  • Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, or similar.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and backend integrations.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, concurrency, reliability, and distributed-system concepts.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or systems, preferably involving high-volume transactions, orders, inventory, payments, catalog, or customer data.
  • Understanding of AI/LLM concepts and how AI can be integrated into software applications.
