About Endeavor:
Endeavor is the leading global community of High-Impact Entrepreneurs in emerging markets. Present in 45+ markets around the world, our 2,900+ entrepreneurs rely on Endeavor's unparalleled network of peers and mentors to solve their toughest challenges. Portfolio companies include Checkout.com (UAE), Carsome (Malaysia), and Rappi (Colombia).
Endeavor's core belief is that entrepreneurs are the single best way to transform economies around the world: with the right community, mentorship, and investment, these individuals form the building blocks for thriving, dynamic economies in emerging markets around the world.
  • Read more about how we support Endeavor Entrepreneurs around the world - from Nairobi to Kuala Lumpur, Mexico City to Dubai.
  • About our values
  • About how we plan to advance the Multiplier Effect by helping entrepreneurs grow faster, think bigger, and give back to their communities as they inspire, mentor, and invest in others.
  • And about our rules-based, co-investment venture capital fund with $540M+ AUM across four funds, Endeavor Catalyst.

About the Role:
The Global Events team at Endeavor designs and delivers exceptional event experiences that reflect Endeavor's mission and strengthen its value proposition to entrepreneurs, mentors, and stakeholders worldwide. Events include International Selection Panels, internal and external retreats, and global gatherings across Endeavor's 50+ countries.
As Events Manager, you will lead end-to-end logistics and operational planning of 4-6 international events annually, working in partnership with a Content Lead from another team within Endeavor, who drives program elements. No two events run the same way: each one unfolds in a different country across our global network, with different local teams, vendors, and cultural nuances. You'll play a key role in bringing structure, coordination, and execution rigor to these dynamic environments, embracing the opportunity to adapt and deliver high-level experiences that are true to Endeavor's brand. Beyond execution, you will play an active role in building the systems, documentation, and workflows that make the global events team more efficient and scalable over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Execution:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of 4-6 international events annually including International Selection Panels, Endeavor Week, or other flagship events, and support additional events as needed.
  • Manage all stages of event management, including budgeting, vendor relations, collateral development, registration, staffing, and on-site logistics.
  • Serve as the lead organizer, work closely with local teams, managing project timelines, internal dependencies, and cross-functional coordination to keep every workstream on track.

Guest Experience and Creative Delivery:
  • Collaborate with the Content Lead to deliver the creative vision and guest experience, while coordinating relationships with internal marketing and communication teams and external partners.
  • Lead guest management, revenue tracking, and post-event analysis and reporting.

Operations and Infrastructure:
  • Build and maintain project management tools, templates, and timelines to support event production, continuously improving systems for efficiency and scale.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repeatable tasks and document processes to support team-wide adoption of more efficient, tech-enabled ways of working.
Who you are:
  • 3-5 years of events management experience: You have a proven track record of delivering successful, customer-focused event experiences. A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Vendor and Budget Management: You have experience in at least one role where you owned the full event and vendor relationships end-to-end managing multiple vendors, negotiating contracts, and coordinating internal staff to deliver events on time and within budget.
  • Project Management Expertise: You are well-versed in project management tools and leveraging AI tools to build more efficient workflows. You can build and maintain detailed timelines, track dependencies, and keep multiple workstreams on schedule without losing detail. Experience with Claude, Notion, Salesforce, and event management tools is a plus.
  • Strong Communicator: You communicate clearly, with strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset. You're comfortable coordinating across global and remote teams, working with senior-level stakeholders, and representing the organization to vendors and external partners.
  • Adaptable and Calm Under Pressure: You are resourceful, flexible, and able to navigate last-minute changes without losing composure. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can establish priorities when demands compete.
  • Independent and Collaborative: You drive your own workload autonomously, and you're a genuine team player who brings strong problem-solving skills to cross-functional coordination. You're a self-starter who thrives in collaborative, mission-driven environments.
  • Creative and Experience-Driven: You think carefully about how events feel, not just how they run, and you're always looking for ways to elevate the experience. Previous experience with brand activations or experiential marketing is a plus.
Position Details:
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Location: New York, NY - hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the NYC office). Must be based in the New York area, eligible to live and work in the United States, and willing to travel internationally to support events abroad.
  • Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 per annum plus benefits.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week. Willing and able to work longer hours in the days leading up to and during events, including on nights and weekends.
  • Travel: This role requires international travel, approximately 20-30% of the time, with most trips ranging from 7-10 days. Explore Endeavor's global calendar to better understand our events.
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application. Endeavor is unable to sponsor or transfer employment visas for this role.

The hiring process will include:
  • Phone interview
  • Round of interviews
  • Assessment
  • Reference check

How do we handle internal hiring: Internal hiring is, admittedly, a bit tricky. You may be ready for your next tour of duty but are hesitant to let your manager know that. So please understand that all applications will remain confidential. Before the final stage of interviews, we will require that all candidates inform their Managing Director of their interest in the position.
