Job description

We're hiring an Automotive Collision Repair Estimator / Office Operations Specialist to join our client's team located in Lake Worth Beach FL

About the Position
We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated Automotive Collision Repair Estimator / Office Operations Specialist to join our client's team.
This is a key position within their shop and is ideal for someone who understands the collision repair process, takes pride in accurate estimating, communicates well with technicians, customers, insurance companies, and vendors, and enjoys being part of a team.
You will play an important role in keeping repairs moving efficiently, from the initial estimate and parts ordering through supplements, quality control, final billing, and closing the repair order.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and thorough repair estimates for insurance claims, Direct Repair Program (DRP) work, customer-pay repairs, and towed-in vehicles.
  • Handle insurance estimates, supplements, and related documentation, ensuring repairs are properly documented and supported.
  • Research and order parts from multiple sources to obtain the right parts at the best available price and availability.
  • Review, audit, and properly close completed Repair Orders (ROs).
  • Work closely with technicians to assist with supplements, labor times, repair procedures, internet research, troubleshooting, and other repair-related questions.
  • Prepare and email final invoices/bills to insurance companies, customers, brokers, and other appropriate parties.
  • Assist with quality control (QC) to help ensure completed repairs meet our standards before vehicles are delivered.
  • Assist with parts returns, credits, and vendor-related issues.
  • Monitor shop expenses and identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and increase profitability.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, insurance representatives, vendors, technicians, and other members of the office team.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation while helping ensure the repair process stays organized and on schedule.
  • Assist with other office and operational responsibilities as needed to support the overall success of the shop.
The ideal candidate is:
  • Experienced in automotive collision repair estimating and/or shop operations.
  • Knowledgeable about collision repair procedures, parts, labor operations, and insurance processes.
  • Comfortable working with insurance estimates and supplements.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through.
  • A strong communicator who can work professionally with customers, insurance companies, technicians, and vendors.
  • Comfortable using computers, estimating systems, online resources, and repair information.
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment without losing attention to detail.
  • A problem-solver who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done.
  • Focused on accuracy, efficiency, customer service, and profitability.
  • A team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
Office Team
You will be joining an established team with dedicated support already in place, allowing you to focus on your responsibilities while having experienced resources available when needed.

 Current office structure includes:
  • Production Manager with extensive estimating experience.
  • Customer Service/Receptionist handling front-office customer support and reception responsibilities.
  • Accounting/Bookkeeping Specialist handling accounting and bookkeeping functions.
  • General Manager/Owner, who is actively involved in the business approximately 6–8 hours per day, can step into any position when needed, and manages our outside fleet and commercial accounts.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm
Salary: $65,000-$80,000 (Depending on experience)

Why Join Our Team?
This position offers the opportunity to become an important part of a well-supported, team-oriented collision repair operation. You will have experienced people around you, while still having the independence and responsibility to make a meaningful impact on the shop's efficiency, customer service, and profitability.
