Responsibilities
The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off automotive parts, while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, passionate about satisfying customers and committed to work safety.
To succeed as a Delivery Driver, you should be polite, prompt, willing to work as part of the delivery team and committed to providing our customers with an excellent experience.
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to support our Collision Auto Parts division. This role involves operating a company van to deliver oversized collision parts-such as bumpers, fenders, and hoods-to wholesale and retail customers. The driver must be comfortable handling large, bulky items and providing professional customer service at every stop.
  • Operate a company van to deliver large and oversized collision auto parts.
  • Load and unload parts weighing up to 75 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
  • Verify delivery accuracy, inspect parts before departure, and secure items for transport.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and document any delivery issues.
  • Complete daily route sheets, delivery logs, and customer paperwork.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance concerns immediately.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules; comply with all traffic laws and company safety
    guidelines.
  • Report incidents, damages, or safety concerns to management promptly.
  • Represent the company in a courteous and customer-focused manner.
  • Maintain a basic familiarity with common collision parts (e.g., bumpers, fenders, reinforcements). When interacting with customers, be able to recognize related components-such as absorbers, retainers, or brackets-to help ensure accurate deliveries and confirm the correct items are received.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Clean driving record (subject to MVR check).
  • Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement).
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
  • Able to enter/exit the delivery vehicle frequently throughout the day.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
  • Must work in various weather conditions.
  • Basic English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Prior delivery experience preferred but not required.

Physical & Working Conditions
  • Frequent handling of large, bulky collision parts.
  • Loading/unloading materials throughout the shift.
  • Long periods of driving and navigating busy delivery routes.
  • Use and compliance with all required safety gear.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to manage, track and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances
  • Ability to utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for purposes of navigation/ route optimization, tracking and customer interface/ signature capture
  • Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of team
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed preferred
  • Previous delivery driving experience is a plus
