Job description

Mittera is looking for a Collation Lead to join our growing team! The Collation Lead is responsible for overseeing the card collation process to ensure trading cards are accurately sorted, sequenced, and assembled into packs, boxes, and cases according to production specifications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate daily activities of the collation department.
  • Monitor automated and manual collation processes to ensure correct card distribution and pack configuration.
  • Verify that trading cards, inserts, parallels, autographs, and special chase cards are properly allocated according to production requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks to identify missing, duplicated, damaged, or incorrectly collated cards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance personnel when needed.
  • Train, coach, and support collation operators and production staff.
  • Ensure production goals, schedules, and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, waste, and quality inspections.
  • Monitor inventory levels of card stock, packaging materials, and specialty inserts.
  • Enforce workplace safety procedures and company policies.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance, packaging, and production management teams.
  • Investigate and resolve collation discrepancies to minimize product defects and customer complaints
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, or trading card production.
  • Prior leadership or lead operator experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic computer skills for production tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.

Physical Requirements
  • Requires use of proper body mechanics with pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and bending
  • Pushing/pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity, and coordination
  • Requires near visual acuity
  • Requires working around and operating departmental equipment
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility
  • Requires the ability to function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances
