Job description

DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Security Assistant supporting the C3C / Kessel Run (KR) Division within the United States Air Force Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) Directorate.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide security support for collateral programs and, when required, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs.

Support the management and operation of secure facilities, secure spaces, and classified meeting environments.

Assist with Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) activities, ensuring compliance with applicable dod and Air Force security requirements.

Prepare, process, receive, distribute, and maintain accountability of classified mail, packages, and associated records.

Process and review Visitor Access Requests (vars), visit certifications, and access eligibility documentation.

Review documentation for public release and verify proper Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), classification markings, and distribution statements.

Assist with the development and maintenance of Security Operating Procedures (sops), DD Form 254s, OPSEC plans, emergency action plans, transportation plans, and other security documentation.

Verify personnel clearances and access authorizations prior to granting access to classified information and facilities.

Assist with security inspections, self-assessments, Management Internal Control Toolset activities, and corrective action tracking.

Support secure video teleconferencing systems, secure space projects, and classified meeting execution.

Conduct entry and exit inspections and support anti-terrorism and force protection measures as directed.

Support security education and awareness programs through briefings, presentations, and training materials.

Perform administrative security support functions as directed by the Information Protection Lead and Contractor Site Lead.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of the customer, U.S. citizenship is required.

Must have be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance.

BA/BS and 5 years of experience in respective technical/professional discipline, three of which must be in the dod.

Secure room and secure facility management.

Physical Security (PHYSEC).

Information Security (INFOSEC).

Classified material control and accountability.

Visitor Access Request (VAR) processing.

Personnel Security (PERSEC) support.

Operations Security (OPSEC).

Security documentation and DD Form 254 administration.

Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling and marking requirements.

Secure Video Teleconferencing (SVTC/VTC) support.
