Breast Surgical Oncologist Charlotte Region, NC

We are seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Surgical Oncologist to join a collaborative and patient-focused cancer program in the Charlotte region of North Carolina. This opportunity offers the ability to work alongside a highly specialized multidisciplinary team while caring for patients in one of the Southeast s fastest-growing metropolitan areas. Opportunity Highlights
  • Established, integrated NAPBC-accredited breast center located in Charlotte, North Carolina

  • Secondary practice location in the South Charlotte area

  • Team of 8 providers, including 3 physicians and 5 APPs, caring for more than 1,100 new breast cancer cases annually

  • Comprehensive cancer program focused on disease sub-specialization and collaborative care

  • Full-time schedule with approximately 2.5 clinic days and 2 OR days weekly

  • Opportunity to participate in clinical research

  • Teaching opportunities available through affiliation with UNC-Chapel Hill and medical student education

  • Weekly multidisciplinary cancer conference participation

  • Involvement in institute-wide and statewide breast cancer tumor councils and collaborative initiatives

  • APP support available in both clinic and operating room settings

  • Physicians manage their own call schedule

Candidate Qualifications
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Surgery

  • Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology preferred

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Provide comprehensive breast surgical oncology care for adult patients ages 18+

  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and tumor conferences

  • Collaborate closely with oncology, radiology, pathology, and reconstructive surgery teams

  • Engage in clinical research and educational initiatives as desired
