Job description

Are you an Anesthesiology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Virginia might be the perfect fit for you! Opportunity Highlights
  • Schedule: 50 hour work week, 10 & 12 hour shifts Mon-Fri, occasional OT. Call involved: 3rd Call MD shift 7pm-7am, Weekend Call Saturday and Sunday (in house 7am-7pm, 3rd call 7pm-7am)
  • Job Setting: Hospital System, supervision model 3:1 (preferred)
  • Types of Cases: OB, Ortho, Neuro Intervention, Vascular and Trauma, GI, GU, GYN, Thoracic, CVIR, MRI, Endoscopy, ACS (minimal Peds). Facilities include: OB (2 ORs), Main OR (15), CVIR/Specials (2), MRI/CT (1), Endo (3 rooms), Bronch (1 room)
  • Credentialing: 60-90 days
Minimum Requirements
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification Required
  • Certifications: M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine, ECFMG and FLEX, Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
  • Licensure: Virginia
