Hello, I’m Simon, Recruitment Advisor at FED Manutech,
a specialized recruitment firm focused on engineering, industrial and manufacturing positions across Quebec.
We are currently supporting a well-established and growing food manufacturing company in the search for two Quality Assurance Specialists to strengthen their quality team in a context of operational growth and expansion.

Mission

Reporting to the Quality & R&D Director, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the plant’s quality standards.
You will act as a true quality ambassador on the production floor while actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards;
Participating in internal and customer audits;
Providing quality support on the production floor;
Training and supporting operational teams in both French and English;
Contributing to continuous improvement projects;
Supporting SQF / GFSI standards and certifications;
Participating in investigations and quality issue resolutions;
Collaborating closely with production, maintenance, QC and R&D teams;
Maintaining a strong floor presence to support daily operations.

Your profile

DEC or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Quality, Food Science, Biotechnology, etc.);
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a regulated environment;
Mandatory work experience in Quebec;
Experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry;
Good knowledge of SQF / GFSI standards;
Fully bilingual in French and English;
Strong communication and training abilities in both languages;
Autonomous, organized and proactive;
Hands-on and collaborative approach;
Strong interest in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.
