Job description

Dayton Early Childhood Special Education Program is looking for an Education Technician III - Pre-K

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Eligible for appropriate Maine Department of Education certification (022).
2. High School Diploma or GED equivalent, plus 3 years of post-secondary education. (60 credits)
Brief Job Duties:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:



  1. Works one to one and with small groups of students to implement curriculum, instruction and assessments.
  2. Assists with building duties and routine tasks as assigned by the principal and supervising teachers (i.e. recess, lunch,
    bus duty, etc.).
  3. Prepares and organizes materials for instruction as requested by teachers and supervisors.
  4. Assists with the supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, field trips, etc.
  5. Assists students with lunch, snack, and clean up routines.Developing and administering school elementary curriculum
