Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for performing various types of support onsite or at customer’s location, such as printing and apparel equipment and software troubleshooting, training, and repair. Specialist must be able to work face to face, over the telephone, and via email on a regular basis to help resolve issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent performs other job-related duties as assigned and required.

Documents and troubleshoots incoming support requests; makes suggestions, attempting different means of fixing issues with equipment and software, until fully resolved.

Travels to company’s customers to provide outstanding service by installing, troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing printing and apparel equipment.

Backs up trainers by training customers onsite and in the field, utilizing training documentation, on printing and apparel equipment and software. Demonstrates proper technique for running, maintaining, and adjusting the equipment. Demonstrates proper technique for creating designs in printing and apparel software.

Backs up other specialists on the creation of custom samples, equipment demonstrations, equipment repair, quality control, and equipment preparation.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
