The RealCold platform operates a national, omni-channel network, inclusive of traditional storage offerings, as well as comprehensive direct-to-consumer programs, which can reach the majority of U.S. consumers within 1- or 2-day ground service.

The Role:

The Warehouse Team Member supports the warehouse operation by having the ability to work cross functionally performing a variety of tasks to move products and packages throughout the warehouse, load and unload materials. The warehouse team member is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods within a warehouse facility. Their duties also involve inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for promoting a Safety Culture throughout the Facility, working safe is always the #1 priority; clean as you go to ensure everyone is working in a safe environment. Follow all safety rules & regulations at all times and be a conduit of safety to yourself and others.
  • Move products & packages throughout the warehouse utilizing appropriate equipment.
  • Conduct equipment checks prior to the start of the shift. Notify management as appropriate of any issues or safety concerns.
  • Load & Unload materials & merchandise from trucks & place them in the appropriate location within the warehouse for storage.
  • Notify supervision regarding any deficiencies in quality, customer shortages or damaged product.
  • Staging pallets as needed for shipment.
  • Select products according to tickets and accurately placing them in boxes for shipments, this includes but is not limited: product labeling & box building
  • Assemble daily shipments by order location & category
  • Ensure orders are packed into appropriate shipping containers for customer delivery.
  • Inspect the product as packing to ensure there is no damage.
  • Perform quality control assessments and stack them safely & securely.
  • Build boxes as needed for the shipment of product to customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Position:

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a warehouse or related role.
  • Experience in a cold storage facility a plus.
  • Proficient in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, high reach, and pallet jacks.
  • Forklift Certification (pallet jack or high reach) preferred with the ability to attain one upon hire.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have a valid US drivers license.
  • Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Work Requirements:

Work Environment:

Works in a cold storage facility with exposure to low to below zero temperatures. This job may involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as dust, noise, etc. Accidents are improbable other than minor injuries. Environment may be fast paced at times. You will be working around moving machines, order pickers and forklifts.
