Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through ourAmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details:Sunday, 4pm - completion. Off Monday, Tuesday -Thursday, 4:30pm-completion.

Pay Details: Pay starting at $19.00 (Hourly) with potential for up to $24.20 (Hourly) based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.

Summary of Role:

The Refrigerated Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner. This role includes regular work in refrigerated / cold storage areas to support temperature-sensitive inventory. Under direct supervision, handles and maintains the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degrees of automation according to established standards.

Responsibilities:

Actual duties and responsibilities may vary based on business needs, local requirements, and operational practices. Where a team member's role is governed by an employment agreement, local terms and conditions, prior job description or collective bargaining agreement, those documents shall prevail in case of any inconsistency. Mandatory local laws shall also prevail

  • Work in refrigerated / cold storage warehouse areas as part of daily operations.

  • Handle temperature-sensitive products in accordance with company quality and safety procedures.

  • Order fulfillment - stocking, restocking, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer orders.

  • Perform daily cycle counting and researching discrepancies.

  • Use equipment to track, monitor and verify products for distribution.

  • Maintain a clean work area to keep pharmaceutical products and merchandise clean and help prevent work related injuries.

  • Verify product received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages (dependent on shift assignment).

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred

Work Experience:

  • Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.


Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.

  • Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements.

  • Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials.

  • Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations.

  • Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements.

  • Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools.

  • Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions.

  • Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs.

  • Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action.

  • Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities.

  • Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy.

  • Ability to work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
