Home Every Night | Weekly Pay | Full-Time | Benefits

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will safely transport goods and materials to various locations while ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition.


Truck Parked: Nova Stone- Catharpin or Ashburn

Equipment: Tractor-trailer with piggyback forklift

Schedule: Day Shift (Start Time: 7:00 AM) | Overtime Available | Seasonal fluctuations may require overtime and Saturday work

Routes: Virginia & Maryland, construction sites & residential areas

Compensation & Benefits Package:

Hourly Pay Range: $28.00–$35.00 per hour, Starting pay is determined based on CDL experience and experience operating piggyback forklift equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer in all weather and road conditions
  • Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Load and unload cargo safely and securely, including frequent forklift use
  • Connect and disconnect trailers and piggyback forklifts safely
  • Maintain accurate electronic and/or paper logs and delivery documentation
  • Complete paperwork accurately and on time
  • Troubleshoot minor vehicle issues and report maintenance concerns promptly
  • Follow delivery schedules and dispatch instructions
  • Utilize GPS, maps, and navigational tools effectively
  • Ensure all deliveries are signed for and proof of delivery is submitted daily
  • Verify correct products and quantities before delivery
  • Communicate delays, issues, or delivery concerns to Dispatch or Management
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers and coworkers
  • Keep company vehicles clean, fueled, and properly maintained
  • Maintain fuel receipts and company fuel card records
  • Assist in yard operations as needed
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid CDL A License and current Medical Card
  • Clean driving record
  • Minimum 1 year CDL driving experience
  • Ability to pass background and Clearinghouse checks
  • Ability to drive long distances safely
  • Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and DOT regulations
  • Commitment to safety and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects

Physical Requirements

  • Constant sitting, seeing, and use of hands/feet while operating vehicle
  • Frequent talking and hearing
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and 45 lbs repeatedly
  • Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, and walking
  • Ability to climb into truck cab and access trailer beds
  • Ability to crawl under vehicle for inspections when necessary

Work Environment

Work is primarily performed inside a truck cab; however, drivers will regularly work outdoors in varying weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, and cold. Yard conditions may include dust, uneven surfaces, and limited lighting.
