Job description

Position: Cold Line/Prep Team Member

Status: Full Time

Location: 141 County Line Road, Plant City, FL 33566

Work Environment

Temperatures could range from 36 degrees to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Boots and jackets are provided at no charge if working under refrigeration.

Hours of Work

4 days a week (8 to 10 hour shifts); hours vary

We offer 2 paid breaks and 1 lunch break.

Cold Line/Prep Team Member Mission

We are looking for an ambitious Line/Prep Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen. You’ll perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.

A great line/prep cook will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. You will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team. If you have restaurant industry experience and a passion for food prep and strong customer service, we want you!

Responsibilities

  • Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
  • Maintain accurate food inventories
  • Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
  • Rotate stock items as per established procedures
  • Restock for subsequent shifts
  • Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
