Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a WMS Product Analyst - IT LEAD to be located in Memphis, TN.

Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain Technology is recruiting for an IT Lead - WMS Product Analyst (PG26) located in Memphis, Tennessee.

This role serves as the technology lead and product analyst supporting warehouse management and distribution operations across the Memphis Logistics Center (MLC). The position is accountable for delivering business capabilities, operational stability, continuous improvement initiatives, and product roadmaps for Warehouse Management Systems including MARC WMS, SAP EWM, and related execution platforms.

The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between Supply Chain business partners, Distribution Center operations, Engineering, Automation teams, and Technology organizations. This individual will translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions while ensuring high system availability, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and operational excellence.

The role requires a strong mix of business process expertise, product ownership, business analysis, project leadership, and warehouse execution technology knowledge. The candidate will lead initiatives supporting warehouse operations, automation, robotics, handheld/RF solutions, transportation integration, inventory management, and digital transformation programs for Memphis DC that is operated by 3PL.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Business Leadership

  • Serve as the primary IT partner for Memphis Distribution Center operations.
  • Define and manage the product roadmap for warehouse management and execution capabilities.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
  • Translate business strategies and operational requirements into product capabilities and technology solutions.
  • Prioritize enhancements, technical debt, operational improvements, and project investments based on business value and risk.

Product Ownership & Solution Delivery

  • Lead development and delivery of new WMS capabilities, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Own and manage product backlogs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities.
  • Drive Agile delivery practices while partnering with development, testing, architecture, and support teams.
  • Coordinate solution design, testing, deployment, training, cutover, and hypercare activities.
  • Support business readiness, user acceptance testing, and change management efforts.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accountability for system availability, performance, reliability, and operational support.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action plans for production issues.
  • Partner with support teams to ensure timely incident resolution and service request fulfillment.
  • Monitor key operational metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure warehouse technology solutions support service, quality, compliance, and productivity goals.

Warehouse Technology & Process Leadership

  • Develop deep understanding of distribution center processes including:

  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and execution plans to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Coordinate activities with software vendors, systems integrators, and third-party logistics providers.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with Johnson & Johnson policies, cybersecurity standards, SDLC processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support validation and documentation activities where required.
  • Drive lifecycle management, platform modernization, and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Maintain governance over integration, master data, and system changes affecting warehouse operations.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Technology, Warehouse Management Systems, or Distribution Operations.
  • Experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems such as:
    • SAP EWM
    • SAP WM
    • Blue Yonder/JDA
    • Korber/STEPLogic or Trace
    • Manhattan
    • MARC WMS or equivalent solutions
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics business processes.
  • Experience leading product, business analysis, or technology delivery initiatives.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into process flows, epics, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Experience supporting Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design skills.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP EWM implementations, migrations, or warehouse modernization programs.
  • Experience supporting automation, robotics, ASRS, conveyor, or material handling technologies.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP TM, SAP ERP, or related supply chain applications.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, integrations, middleware, or API-driven architecture.
  • Exposure to AI, machine learning, analytics, or digital supply chain initiatives.
  • Experience supporting FDA, GxP, SOX, or regulated environments.
  • Project Management certification and/or Agile certification preferred.
