Job description

Earn What You're Worth. Pre-Set Appointments. Uncapped Commission.

At Franciscus Roofing, part of the Alloy Roofing family, we have built a strong reputation in Woodhaven, MI for delivering exceptional quality, providing an outstanding homeowner experience, and taking care of our team. We are a fast-growing company with the leadership, systems, and support structure in place to help you succeed.

We set the appointments. We provide the tools, the training, and the support. You show up, connect with people, and close. If you can do that consistently, the earnings here are real.

Who Succeeds Here

Our top performers come from a wide range of industries—hospitality, automotive, finance, education, healthcare, real estate, retail management, and the military. What sets them apart isn't their background. It's their approach: coachable, driven, and genuinely committed to the customer experience.

We are a merit-based organization where emotional intelligence, communication, and the ability to build lasting trust are the skills that drive results. We welcome and encourage candidates from all experience levels and industries to apply.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with pre-set, pre-qualified homeowner appointments—we handle lead generation so you can focus on closing.
  • Deliver consultative in-home sales presentations using iPad-based tools and our proven process.
  • Assess homeowner needs and design customized roofing solutions on the spot.
  • Negotiate terms and prepare purchase agreements and contracts.
  • Manage your pipeline and activity in our CRM with accuracy and follow-through.
  • Continue developing your craft through ongoing coaching, ride-alongs, and team training.

You're the Right Fit If...

  • You are a natural communicator who builds trust quickly with people you just met.
  • You are competitive and motivated by earnings tied directly to your own performance.
  • You can handle objections without getting defensive—you hear "no" as a question, not a door closing.
  • You take coaching seriously and implement feedback instead of defending your current habits.
  • You have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation—you will be driving to appointments daily.
  • You are willing to master our proven process before adapting it to your own style.

Your First 4 Weeks — Fully Paid Training

We do not hand you a script and wish you luck. Every new Outside Sales Representative goes through a structured, fully paid four-week onboarding program before they are ever expected to close independently.

  • Week 1: Product & Homeowner Knowledge—Roofing fundamentals, materials, what homeowners care about most, and how to read a job site.
  • Week 2: The Sales Process—Presentation flow, objection handling, closing techniques, and contract preparation.
  • Week 3: Ride-Alongs with Top Performers—Observe, shadow, and practice in real appointments alongside our best closers.
  • Week 4: Supervised Solo Appointments—Real appointments with real-time coaching and feedback from your Sales Manager.

You will be paid your full base during training. By the time you are on your own, you will be ready.

Compensation

  • Base salary during training: $650/week for the full four-week training period.
  • Commission structure: Performance-based and uncapped. Your earnings are tied directly to your results.
  • First-year on-target earnings: $70,000–$120,000+ as you build your pipeline and refine your process.
  • Year two and beyond: $100,000–$200,000+ for consistent performers. Top earners exceed this range.

Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process. Actual earnings depend on individual performance and are not guaranteed.

What We Bring to You

  • Pre-set appointments. We handle lead generation. You are not cold calling—you are walking into homes where someone is already expecting you.
  • Proven process. A sales system built around how homeowners actually make decisions—not a script you memorize and forget.
  • Real training investment. Four weeks of paid onboarding plus ongoing ride-alongs, coaching, and skill development. We build closers, not just headcount.
  • Performance-based pay. Uncapped commission structure with advancement tied directly to what you deliver.
  • Benefits. Health, dental, life insurance, EAP, and 8 company-paid holidays. Full details provided at offer.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle—you will drive to appointments daily.
  • Availability for evening appointments and some Saturdays.
  • Comfort with iPad-based tools and CRM platforms, or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Ability to pass a background check prior to start date.

How to Apply

Apply directly through this posting. Qualified candidates will be contacted within 48 hours for a brief introductory call.
