Job Title: Treasury Operations Specialist (Cash & Currency Processing)
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Operations Specialist to join our secure operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the verification, processing, and accurate accounting of high-value currency and coin inventory. You will operate specialized high-speed counting equipment and utilize accounting software to ensure the integrity of our financial circulation.
This is a critical position within a highly regulated, secure environment. You will be expected to maintain strict adherence to internal controls, safety protocols, and operational standards. If you have a background in cash management, vault operations, or financial processing and possess the analytical precision required for high-volume inventory reconciliation, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities
Currency Operations & Processing
• Transaction Execution: Accurately verify, process, and pay out currency and coin. Operate complex, high-speed processing equipment to maintain efficient inventory turnover.
• Accounting & Reconciliation: Utilize financial software to perform accurate data entry, account for currency movements, and ensure all balances align with internal ledger systems.
• Compliance & Security: Maintain rigorous adherence to security procedures, compliance regulations, and operational controls. Ensure all daily activities meet productivity and quality standards.
Operational Excellence
• Technical Troubleshooting: Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies or technical equipment issues. Make minor adjustments to workflows to improve individual productivity while staying within operational boundaries.
• Collaboration: Work effectively within a team-oriented, secure environment. Communicate status updates and potential issues clearly to supervisors and team members.
• Adaptability: Maintain high levels of precision during repetitive tasks and demonstrate the ability to shift priorities as business needs dictate.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
• Experience Baseline: 1-3+ years of relevant experience in cash operations, currency processing, treasury, or high-volume financial auditing.
• Technical Mastery: Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office); experience operating high-speed processing equipment or automated counting systems.
• Physical Capability: Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and stand for extended periods during operational shifts.
