Position Overview Cash Vault Teller

The Cash Vault Teller is responsible for accurately processing, counting, and reconciling currency and coin in a secure vault environment. This position supports customer cash services and armored transport operations by ensuring transactions are completed accurately and in accordance with established procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and security.


Key Responsibilities

  • Count, sort, verify, and process currency and coin accurately.
  • Prepare customer deposits, change orders, and cash shipments according to established procedures.
  • Operate currency counters, coin machines, and other vault equipment.
  • Reconcile cash transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Follow all security, safety, and cash-handling procedures.
  • Assist with vault operations and support other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to operate cash-processing equipment and a 10-key calculator.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
  • Ability to regularly lift to 25-50 pounds and stand for extended periods


Schedule & Hours
