Modern US Coin Grader

Are you passionate about modern U.S. coins and excited by the latest releases? Join the expert grading team at NGC and help shape the future of numismatics. We’re looking for a Modern US Coin Grader to evaluate the finest new coins produced by the U.S. Mint. You’ll be trained in NGC’s industry-leading grading standards and become proficient in assessing modern coins using the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale.

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), part of the Certified Collectibles Group (CCG), is the world’s largest and most trusted third-party coin grading service. With over 48 million coins graded—including some of the hobby’s most iconic rarities—NGC is the official grading service of both the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) and the American Numismatic Association (ANA). CCG companies have certified more than 100 million collectibles across coins, paper money, comic books, stamps, and more, with offices in Sarasota, FL; London; Munich; Shanghai; Hong Kong, and Dubai.

What You’ll Do

  • Grade modern U.S. coins with precision and consistency
  • Stay current with new coin releases and trends
  • Apply NGC’s rigorous grading standards and the Sheldon Scale

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for coins—especially modern U.S. issues
  • Prior experience as a collector is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in evaluation
