Summary
Delta Star Inc. is seeking an entry-level Coil Winder I to support coil production while developing skills in winding techniques, tools, and quality standards.
What You'll Do
You'll perform basic winding operations under supervision while learning production processes and quality requirements.
Specific Duties
  • Wind assigned coil types under supervision
  • Use winding tools and measuring devices
  • Assist with mandrel setup and cable spool prep
  • Support coil handling, unloading, and pressing
  • Perform cleaning and prep work
  • Assist with minor rework
  • Use test equipment when trained
  • Complete DIRs and documentation
  • Inspect work with guidance

A detail-oriented individual ready to build technical skills in winding operations.
Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Skills & Competencies
  • Basic understanding of coil winding processes.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and follow instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 70 pounds with assistance.
  • Must be able to climb ladders.
  • Must be able to use fall protection equipment.
