Job description

Our client is seeking an AI Software Engineer with 8-10 years of experience to design, develop, and deploy intelligent agents and AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services. This role combines advanced .NET/C# development with cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET/C# applications and cloud-native microservices using Azure infrastructure
  • Design and implement AI-powered solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, and the Microsoft Agent Framework
  • Build and deploy intelligent agents with advanced capabilities including prompt engineering, context engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines
  • Implement tool use orchestration, action planning, and memory management strategies to enable autonomous decision-making and agent responsiveness
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and external systems with intelligent agents; manage state, goals, and feedback loops for optimal performance
  • Evaluate and verify AI agent behavior and outputs using various testing techniques and validation tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, data scientists, DevOps) and mentor junior engineers on best practices and emerging AI technologies
  • Maintain code quality through peer reviews, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and adherence to Agile methodologies

Requirements
  • 8-10 years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in .NET and C#
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Cognitive Services
  • Strong expertise in prompt engineering, context engineering, RAG implementation, and vectorization/indexing techniques
  • Solid understanding of intelligent agent design, including tool use orchestration, action planning, memory management, and state management
  • Experience with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development patterns
  • Proficiency with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and optimize AI model outputs and agent behavior through systematic testing and validation
