Advanced treatment of cognitive science topics for arts majors. Possible topics include: concepts, consciousness, the mind-body problem, cognitive science and the arts.

Minimum qualifications: A Master's degree in Cognitive Science or a related field (e.g., Linguistics, Psychology, Philosophy, Computer Science) is required.

Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. preferred; experience teaching in a university environment preferred; relevant background in Cognitive Science required. Candidates should have previous experience in developing and delivering curriculum for university students; experience in teaching research methods and/or with experiential learning activities or service learning would be an asset

Description of Duties: Normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; holding regular office hours. Supervising the TA (if applicable), preparing and supervising tests and exams. The delivery method for this course is currently in-person. Please note that, in keeping with public health advisories, the course delivery method may change as determined by the Faculty or the College.
