The Analyst IV, Epic Application Cogito provides strategic guidance on Epic Cogito configurations aligned with organizational goals. The position will design and build custom reporting tools and dashboards. Partners with operational and clinical leadership to identify future system needs. Owns complex and large-scale projects. Consistently reviews system configurations for performance optimization and compliance.
Responsibilities
  • Provides strategic guidance on Epic Cogito configurations to align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Designs and builds custom reporting tools and dashboards to meet operational needs.
  • Mentors junior analysts and provides advanced troubleshooting for critical issues.
  • Partners with operational and clinical leadership to identify future system needs and growth opportunities.
  • Supports implementation of highly complex projects, such as multi-module implementations or enterprise-wide system upgrades.
  • Develops system governance standards, workflows, and best practices.
  • Regularly reviews system configurations for performance optimization and compliance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced Epic certifications across multiple modules. Cogito, Caboodle etc. Epic certifications must be current or have been actively utilized within the past two years.
  • 3+ years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high-impact projects.

Preferred
  • Professional certifications in healthcare information systems or business applications.
  • Experience in managing clinical and business information systems within a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of dental operations, integrated care delivery systems, and healthcare application ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated experience leading patient experience or digital engagement initiatives.
