Job description

Coffee Up Roastery in Chino, CA is looking for a new part-time barista to join our team. We are located at 5632 Philadelphia St. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, engaged, and a lover of all things coffee and tea!:


Business Hours:

Monday-Friday 7-6PM

Saturday-Sunday 8-2PM


Must be available at least 3 days/week. Must be available at least 1 weekend day per week.


Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and take food and drink orders

• Prepare and serve beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones

• Prepare and serve food items such as sandwiches and pastries

• Answer customers’ questions about menu choices

• Promote and recommend menu options to customers

• Take payment from customers using our POS

• Maintain inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and performing maintenance

• Keep the work environment sanitary and organized

• Evaluate and provide suggestions improve efficiency and quality of service

• Work to attract new customers and expand the menu


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a barista
  • High integrity with a great attendance record
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • Experience with latte art is a plus!
