The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Staff Accountant on behalf of our client, a leading socially conscious coffee company in Roswell, GA that partners directly with farmers around the world to create a transparent, farmer-focused supply chain while delivering premium coffee to businesses and consumers. The organization combines ethical sourcing, sustainability, and innovative technology to ensure farmers earn a greater share of the value they create while providing high-quality coffee solutions across multiple industries.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will analyze financial data, assist with reporting and audits, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
 
Role & Responsibility:

  • Prepare and record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by gathering requested documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
