Position Summary

The Barista is responsible for the service of all beverages and food served at the coffee stand. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00 and is tip eligible.

This position will remain open until June 12, 2026.

About the Venue

At Green River College OVG operates two coffee stands on campus that serves the students and staff on campus. 

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards.
  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, smoothies, and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Request additional product or restock product as required.
  • Handling cash accurately. Employee is responsible for issued bank at his/her bar.
  • Maintains clean and sanitary work station at all times.
  • Ensures all equipment is clean & well maintained.

  • Accurate cash handling skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work individually.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Some Barista experience preferred.
