Job description

At Partners Coffee we are dedicated to roasting quality coffee and serving our customers to the highest standard. Our ideal is someone who's passionate about coffee and hospitality and likes a busy cafe. A great coffee experience is our desire for every guest.
We are looking for a Full-Time Barista to join the team at our flagship store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Our team members must have a passion for hospitality,excellent customer service skills, a strong interest in coffee, and a willingness to learn and improve with our education and training.


Full-time is 30+ hours a week. We run a mix of 6 and 8 hour shifts. We're looking for a barista who can work at a minimum Friday - Monday.


The rate is dependent upon experience but ranges between $17.50-18/hr. This role also earns tips.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Craft beverages to our standard, including pourovers
  • Have a good working knowledge of our coffee offerings
  • Maintain the cafe through busing tables, sweeping, and washing dishes
  • Maintain a clean workspace that aligns with DOH standards


We're looking for someone who:

  • Is a team player
  • Communicates clearly with team members and management
  • Has a love of specialty coffee


Requirements:

  • 1+ years working in speciality coffee.
  • The ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours
  • Lift up to 30lbs
  • Climb stairs and ladders
  • Hear audible cues and taste coffee
  • You will be engaged in repetitive physical movements of the hands and wrists throughout the day
