THE BEACH CLUB COFFEE SHOP PART TIME BARISTA

Job Description:
The Beach Club is seeking a friendly, reliable Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, and light breakfast foods. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring each guest enjoys a positive and memorable experience

Job Tasks:
-  Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to company standards
-  Prepare breakfast food items according to established standards
-  Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders and handle cash and card transactions
-  Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas
-  Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times
-  Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed
-  Answer customer questions and make menu recommendations
-  Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations 
  
 Required Skills:
-  Previous barista or food service experience preferred
-  Strong customer service and communication skills
-  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-  Basic math and cash-handling skills
-  Exhibits a consistently positive attitude
-  Effective interpersonal communication skills
-  Ensures accuracy and consistency through careful attention to detail
-  Willingness to learn and take direction

Physical Requirements:
-  Ability to stand/walk during entire shift
-  Ability to reach, bend and stoop
-  Ability to carry 25 pound several times during a shift over a medium distance
