Job Description
Kona Ice of Bend is looking for dependable, energetic, and customer-focused team members to join our team as Event Manager / Drivers. This role is responsible for driving our trucks or towing approved units to events, setting up and closing down service, serving customers, handling payments, and helping create a fun, professional experience at every stop.
This position is posted under Kona Ice of Bend, but team members may also support our sister brand, Travelin' Tom's Coffee of Bend, depending on business needs, event type, and individual skill set. Some team members may primarily work with one brand more often than the other based on pace, menu complexity, and event needs.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, positive, comfortable working independently, and able to take ownership of an event from start to finish. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys driving, working with people, staying organized, and being part of a fast-moving local business.
Responsibilities
  • Safely drive Kona Ice trucks and approved event units to and from scheduled events
  • Set up, operate, and close down a truck or event service according to company standards
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service at all events
  • Serve products efficiently and accurately
  • Process payments and handle cash or point-of-sale transactions responsibly
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of trucks and equipment
  • Complete opening and closing procedures
  • Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs
  • Help with basic cleaning, stocking, and resetting before or after events
  • Represent Kona Ice of Bend and, when needed, Travelin' Tom's Coffee of Bend in a professional manner
  • Communicate event issues, equipment concerns, or customer needs to ownership or team leads

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record required
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and manage responsibilities at an event
  • Comfortable with driving, setting up, serving, cleaning, and closing tasks
