Report To: Foreman/Project Manager 


Primary Objective of Position:

Under general supervision or independently, perform a wide range of electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Have a comprehensive understanding of electrical codes and regulations to lead projects, guide apprentices, and work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and safe execution of electrical services. 


Essential Functions:

  • Selecting, installing, and preserving the functionality of wires, plugs, panelboards, switchgear, switchboards, and other similar electrical components.
  • Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment following electrical code, specifications, schematics, and blueprints. 
  • Measure, cut bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using rulers, measuring devices, hand tools, pipe threader, and conduit bender. 
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair activities on electrical systems, identifying faults, and recommending appropriate solutions. 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of local and national electrical codes and regulations and ensure all electrical work is performed in compliance with these codes. 
  • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc. 


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent degree
  • Minimum of 4 years as an Apprentice Electrician


Required Skills:

  • Proven written and verbal communication, along with ability to work with a team. 
  • Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and other schematics. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
