CODE Ninjas is looking for an energetic, organized, and tech-savvy Summer Camp Instructor to lead our exciting coding camps from June 15 through August 15. If you love working with kids and are passionate about technology, coding, and creativity, this is the perfect summer opportunity!
About the Role
As a Summer Camp Instructor, you will lead engaging, hands-on coding sessions where kids build games, apps, and interactive projects in a fun and supportive environment. You'll be responsible for delivering camp curriculum, keeping students motivated, and ensuring a safe, positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare camp curriculum and materials before each session
  • Lead daily coding camp activities and hands-on projects
  • Engage, mentor, and support campers in their learning
  • Maintain a fun, structured, and safe classroom environment
  • Adapt instruction to different skill levels and learning styles
  • Communicate camp details and updates to parents via email
  • Provide feedback on student progress when needed
  • Assist with setup, cleanup, and overall camp organization

Qualifications
  • Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, or camp experience preferred)
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of coding (Scratch, Roblox, Minecraft Modding, Python, or similar platforms is a plus)
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
