Basic Job Functions:

In this role, you will design a variety of steel racking systems, including Tuberacks, Drive-In, Cantilever, Pushback, and Pallet Flow racks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creative Engineering: Design safe, efficient, and cost-effective steel racking systems that meet project requirements and comply with applicable codes and standards. Each project presents unique challenges.

  • Technical Analysis: Utilize industry software to analyze structural frames, beams, bracing, mezzanines, and platforms to ensure structural integrity and performance.

  • Collaboration: Partner closely with Project Managers, the Design Department, and cross-functional teams to clearly communicate engineering requirements and support seamless project execution.

  • Design Review: Review and verify structural drawings for accuracy and compliance.

  • Continuous Learning: Pursue ongoing professional development by collaborating across teams, exploring innovative solutions, and building diverse engineering expertise within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
         Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Architectural Engineering from an ABET Accredited school.
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam prior to hire date.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • An educational focus on structural engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of building construction.
  • Understanding of current building codes and standard industry practices.
  • Experience in the field of steel rack supported structures.
