As a Coding Quality Coordinator, you'll play a key role in guiding and developing coders, promoting accuracy and compliance, and helping ensure every patient's clinical story is captured correctly.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Medical Record Sciences with certification as Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Administrator (RHIA) or CCS.
  • Minimum 5 years of inpatient coding experience
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Pathophysiology and disease processes
  • Medical terminology
  • Pharmacology
  • ICD-10 coding systems
  • Level I Trauma Center coding experience preferred
