For nearly 50 years, Energy Services has been a trusted name in residential, HVAC, plumbing and home comfort- known for quality work, professionalism, and longterm careers. Weโ€™re hiring 2nd Year Sponosred Plumbing Apprentices to join our growing team in Naperville, IL and help us continue delivering service homeowners can rely on.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work alongside Licensed Plumbers on residential service calls 
  • Assist with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential plumbing systems 
  • Help install and replace water heaters, fixtures, piping, drains, and other plumbing equipment 
  • Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance under proper supervision 
  • Learn troubleshooting techniques, plumbing codes, and safe work practices 
  • Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicles clean and organized 
  • Provide professional and courteous service in customersโ€™ homes 
  • Participate in ongoing training and hands-on learning

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 2+ years on a sponsored card through an approved plumbing apprenticeship program 
  • Hands-on knowledge of residential plumbing systems, tools, and materials 
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn 
  • Ability to follow direction and work alongside experienced plumbers 
  • Good communication and customer service skills 
  • Comfortable working in residential environments and confined spaces 
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding work 
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record 
  • Experience with tablets or mobile dispatch software is a plus 
  • Ability to successfully complete our hiring process, including background checks, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
