Job description


We are seeking a motivated Plumbing Apprentice with approximately 1 year of experience in new home construction to join our residential plumbing team. The ideal candidate is punctual, mechanically inclined, and possesses a basic understanding of plumbing layouts and systems. Youll work under the guidance of a licensed plumber to install, test, and repair water and drainage systems in new residential builds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist journeyman or lead plumbers with installation of plumbing systems in new homes.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.
  • Read and interpret basic plumbing blueprints, floor plans, and layout drawings.
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are organized and ready for each job.
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times.
  • Follow all company, safety, and building code standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors.
  • Arrive on time for all shifts and maintain reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of plumbing experience, preferably in new home construction.
  • Basic knowledge of residential plumbing systems and layouts.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work in various environments.
