- Performsjourneyman-level installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair ofcommercial and institutional plumbing systems, including domestic water,sanitary sewer, storm drainage, gas piping, fixtures, and mechanical roomequipment (steam and chilled water).
- Diagnoses andresolves complex plumbing issues affecting buildings and infrastructure.
- Independentlytroubleshoot system failures, leaks, pressure issues, and equipmentmalfunctions.
- Responds toemergency service calls, assess risk, implement corrective actions, and restoresystems to operational condition with minimal disruption.
- Ensures allwork complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes, safety standards,and university policies.
- Completes workorders, inspections, documentation, and material take-offs accurately and in atimely manner.
- Reviewsdrawings, specifications, and schematics to execute work correctly.
- Providestechnical guidance and informal leadership to apprentices and lower-levelplumbers.
