Job description

Support manufacturing Crews by troubleshooting and making repairs to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems. Will also provide preventative maintenance scheduled.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Locate and repair faults in extruders, materials systems, facility power distribution systems and any electrical related systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building.
  • Troubleshoot control systems with PLC and industrial PC control systems.
  • Make modifications to Allen Bradley and Siemens controllers
  • Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC drives
  • Prepare purchase orders for parts and supplies needed.
  • Must be prepared to work overtime when needed.
  • Make repairs to mechanical hydraulic, pneumatic and other industrial systems.
  • Must perform job in a manner that is safe for all employees as well as self.
  • Will need to be providing “on call” stand by response to emergency repairs when assigned.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and professional license.
  • Must have own tools and storage cabinets.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Journeymen status as electrician is preferred. Associates degree in Electrical Mechanical Technology or related state approved apprenticeship preferred. Six to eight years experience in an industrial maintenance environment. Must be knowledgeable of OSHA plus state codes and regulations as they relate to job assignments.
