What you can expect in this role:
  • Assist licensed electricians with the installation of residential standby generators and associated electrical equipment.
  • Help install conduit, wiring, transfer switches, electrical panels, and other generator-related components.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment while learning proper installation techniques.
  • Follow all electrical codes, company standards, and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials on job sites.
  • Complete required documentation, including installation notes, materials used, and job progress.
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service while representing the company on every job.
  • Continuously develop your electrical knowledge through hands-on training and mentorship.
The skills/experience you'll need to be considered for this role:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
