Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Master Electrician to lead our electrical projects and ensure the highest standards of safety and technical excellence. As a senior member of our team, you will not only handle complex installations and diagnostics but also provide mentorship to journeymen and apprentices while ensuring all work complies with the National Electric Code (NEC)


Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

  • Compliance & Permitting: Secure necessary permits and ensure all projects meet local, state, and national electrical codes.

  • Blueprints & Design: Interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to plan wiring layouts for new constructions or renovations.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment to locate the cause of a breakdown.

  • Project Management: Estimate materials, labor costs, and timelines for upcoming projects.

  • Mentorship: Supervise and train apprentice and journeyman electricians, fostering a culture of safety and precision.

Required Qualifications
  • Licensure: Valid North Carolina Electrical Unlimited License

  • Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in the electrical trade.

  • Knowledge: Deep expertise in the NEC and local building codes.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
