Job description

About Docketly

Docketly, a sister company to ABC Legal Services, is redefining legal support services. We make it easy, fast, and reliable for creditors'-rights attorneys to connect with court-hearing opportunities, pairing proprietary software with a nationwide attorney network. Based in Longmont, Colorado, we move fast and value people who do the same.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled, technology-forward Senior Verification Operations Specialist to serve as a critical quality checkpoint for hearing information shared with our attorney network. This role goes beyond traditional data entry — we're looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of operations and technology, with hands-on experience building and maintaining automated infrastructure, automating workflows, and working with large-scale AI systems.

This position sits at the center of our AI-driven operational strategy. You'll regularly use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, and the OpenAI Platform, but more importantly, you'll bring a builder's mindset — identifying opportunities to automate repetitive verification work, improve data pipelines, and scale our processes as the business grows.

This position is full-time in Docketly's HQ Office in Longmont, Colorado.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review and verify hearing information for accuracy before publishing to our attorney network
  • Compare and reconcile data across multiple sources, systems, and scraped datasets to ensure consistency and completeness
  • Build, maintain, or troubleshoot lightweight automation scripts that support data collection and verification workflows
  • Leverage AI tools (Claude, OpenAI, Codex, or similar) to assist with verification, flag discrepancies, and improve throughput
  • Identify manual, repetitive processes and design automation solutions to reduce error and increase speed
  • Accurately document and confirm hearing data, attachments, and related materials
  • Send out verified hearing schedules and links to attorneys
  • Respond to tickets and customer inquiries, including basic technical troubleshooting
  • Maintain and exceed daily/weekly verification targets
  • Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and escalate issues as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years' experience in data verification, technical operations, data engineering support, Technical Quality Assurance work, or a related field
  • Experience with browser automated infrastructure (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Puppeteer, or similar)
  • Automation experience — scripting, workflow orchestration, or process automation tools (e.g., Python, Zapier, n8n, Airflow)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under high-volume conditions
  • Genuine technology enthusiast — someone who stays current on AI tools and enjoys experimenting with new platforms
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced, rapidly-scaling environments
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts across multiple systems and tools

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java
  • Experience with API integrations, data pipelines, or ETL processes
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering or AI tool evaluation
  • Proven track record contributing to or building large-scale AI-powered projects or pipelines

People who should apply are:

  • Builders who get energized by solving inefficiencies with code and automation
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Detail-oriented, technically curious, and confident navigating multiple systems and tools
  • Strong communicators who enjoy cross-functional problem solving
  • Motivated to proactively identify and prevent errors through smarter systems, not just manual review
  • No legal experience required!

Benefits:

  • Health, Dental, Vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Paid time off
  • 7 Paid company holidays
  • 4 Floating holidays per-year
  • Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance
  • Long Term Disability
  • Health Care Reimbursement Flexible Spending Account
  • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
  • EAP (Employee Assistance Program)
  • Pet Insurance

Job Type: Full-time,

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday through Friday-9:30am-6pm MST (this position is full-time in Docketly's HQ Office in Longmont, Colorado).
