Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer to design, develop, modernize, test, and support digital applications and web solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with PHP, Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, REST APIs, and modern web application development, along with experience modernizing legacy applications and implementing secure, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance modern web applications and digital solutions.
• Develop and maintain applications using PHP 8, Node.js, Angular 17+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Develop Angular applications using Standalone Components, Signals, and modern control flow syntax.
• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot legacy PHP applications.
• Modernize monolithic applications and migrate functionality from PHP-based architectures to Angular and Node.js solutions.
• Design, develop, consume, and integrate RESTful APIs with enterprise systems.
• Identify, analyze, and remediate application security vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10 risks.
• Implement secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, input validation, and data protection controls.
• Develop and maintain scalable solutions using relational databases such as MySQL.
• Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests while following Test Driven Development (TDD) principles.
• Participate in technical design discussions with technology peers and architecture teams.
• Support other developers with technical guidance and implementation assistance.
• Capture requirements and participate in systems design activities.
• Develop maintainable standards and scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Adhere to project timelines and identify and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing are completed effectively.
• Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Use data and application insights to support technical decisions and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of software engineering development experience.
• Hands-on experience with PHP 8, Node.js, NPM, Angular 17+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Git, REST APIs, and modern web application development.
• Strong experience developing Angular applications using Standalone Components, Signals, and modern control flow syntax.
• Strong experience maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting legacy PHP applications.
• Experience modernizing monolithic applications and migrating functionality from PHP-based architectures to Angular and Node.js solutions.
• Experience identifying, analyzing, and remediating application security vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10 risks.
• Experience implementing secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, input validation, and data protection controls.
• Experience with relational databases, including MySQL.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with enterprise systems.
• Experience writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and CI/CD practices.
